Gasoline Prices

As a firm believer in the free enterprise system I hate to ever criticize.  However, I think the current spike in fuel prices is fueled by nothing other than corporate greed which at times can be just as devastating as a natural disaster or refinery problem.  For many,  fuel prices dont have a major impact on their disposable income but for others it has become a significant consumer of their gross income.  It is encouraging to see the market respond as it should as the automotive manufacturers are coming out with new models with much improved fuel economies.  The funding and research into the use of alternative fuels and energies is increasing. In the next two decades we will see a worldwide revolution in the way we power our societies and manage our planet.  Emerging technology will be the driving factor behind this energy revolution.  I just read about the next generation of microprocessors and their incredibly small size and infinite capabilites.  On the lighter side, I am sure the good folks over at Google Earth will continue to expand their services and will someday provide a new beta release ”Planet Management by Google”.

If you have not watched ‘Who killed the electric car’, a 2006 documentary film that exposes the corporate greed and demonstrates how rival car companies can work together to kill an idea, then you should!

Here is the official site: http://www.whokilledtheelectriccar.com/

This all happened right in front of our faces!

I will certainly check the movie out and report back with my thoughts. Its amazing all that does happen in front of our faces as we sit idly by. Thanks for the post.
